Our Statement of Faith
The Bible is the God-breathed, Spirit-inspired inerrant and infinite Word of God, our Creator. It our manual for all areas of life. It is our history, our present and our future. It is TRUTH.
"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart".- Hebrews 4:12 KJV
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" - 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV
The Trinity
The Trinity exists of three separate, but unified persons, existing eternally – God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
God is the Head of the Trinity and is our supreme Creator of all things. We are made in His image. He is both the Alpha and Omega, being omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." - Revelation 1:8 KJV
Jesus Christ, also a member of the Trinity, the manifestation of God Himself (deity) and yet fully man who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He was crucified on the cross as a final sacrifice for our sins and reconciled us to God the Father for eternity. He then rose from the grave and defeated both sin and death. He ascended into Heaven to sit at the right hand of God.
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."- Hebrews 12:2 KJV
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and works to indwell, empower, and guide mankind to living righteously (according to Scripture) among one another. He takes up residence inside each believer in Christ and leads to a renewed spirit in each one of us. He assists the believer’s revelation of Scripture and equips us for godly living and servitude within the body of Christ.
"And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption." - Ephesians 4:30 KJV
Salvation
Eternal life begins the moment one believes that Christ died for their sins, was buried, and resurrected to give eternal life, then openly receives Jesus Christ into their life and heart by a confession of faith in Him. Only by trusting Jesus Christ as God’s gift of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s original penalty of death.
Through His spirit and truth, we live today
with a promise of eternal salvation in eternity with our Heavenly Father and
Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the forthcoming return of Christ to retrieve His bride, the Church.
